The Big Reveal - Phone conversation

Statement of intent: 100 words explaining what you plan to make.

I intend to create a 30-second TV drama scene that is called .... This is a fantasy and science fiction show about a teenager who is gifted the ability to destroy creatures that have invaded Earth. This scene is a phone conversation between two friends who discuses gossip to do with leaked information about incidents that have lead pupils to believe in magic.

The two characters will be at school having a conversation in two different locations. I will film this conversation in each location and use a variety of different shots and camera angles. Once i have finished filming, i will then use the editing app Premier Pro to put my drama together while adding non-dietetic sound to show connotations to science-fiction and to make an intense scene.

Character 1: Did you hear what everyone's talking about (whispers)

Character 2: What no...wait is Victoria single again? (surprised)

Character 1: What are you talking about, anyways everyone's talking about those weird incidents at school you know the ones that make it seem like... (pauses and whispers) magic exists.

Character 2: Magic? Are you that gullible to believe in children stories (sighs)

Character 1: seriously, you should be careful around school grounds, anything can happen.

(Character 2 ends phone call)

Location: Where you will film

This phone conversation will be filmed inside of school so that the setting is more realistic.
