December PPE Paper 2: Learner Response

1) Type up your feedback in full (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential).

www-This is a solid response with good knowledge shown of the CSPs in Section B. If you can reach that level throughout you will definitely move up towards the top grades.

EBI- TV is the weakness here. Revise narrative theory and the CSPs. Q2 (20-,arl TV essay) needed a lot more depth and reference to the TV CSPs.                                                                                                                                                -written English

2) On a scale of 1-10 (1 = low, 10 = high), how much revision and preparation did you do for your Media PPE?

I revises around a 6-7.

3) Use the mark scheme for this assessment to identify three points you could have made in any of the questions in Section A (Television). Look for the indicative content in the mark scheme - these are the suggested answers from AQA. (Note: the mark scheme for Question 5 has changed as the CSPs have been updated since this exam paper was first published).

-There are similarities between April and Susan as they portray the same rebellious and quite winey attitude towards the adults as they are string minded.

-Representation of race and ethnicity of the teenagers in both shows as Co-owner of a lonely heart as this show mainly white males and females.

-Teenagers as seen as getting their own way don't rely on adults help. 

4) There are three 20-mark essay questions in Media Paper 2. What will you do to improve your performance in the 20-mark essays in the March PPEs?

Next time I will add more narrative theory's into my essays and not repeat my points while making sure I refer to other media products.  

5) Question 5 is a synoptic question that requires you to refer to other CSPs from the whole GCSE Media course. What other CSPs could you have used for this Question 5 on whether media products are just created to make money?

I could have uses NHS, I Daniel Blake and Doctor strange to show how they earn money from their audience.
